Nvidia AI managed to create a new map of GTA V

There is no doubt that at some point the reality will end up overcoming fiction, and it seems that every time we are closer to reaching that point. Artificial intelligence has proven to be one of the most valuable learning tools in recent years, and the latest example of nvidia and grand theft auto v demonstrates it.

Harrison Kinsley and Daniel Kukeila , two researchers of nvidia , have created a project called gan theft auto , which uses company technologies to create a neuronal network that generates a playable fragment of GTA V . Next, I explain exactly how this works.

Basically, 16 bots were used to play gta in the same area for several hours. After the collected enough information, it was able to recreate the same place. Of course, this ISA is still not able to perfectly recreate each of these areas, which is why the image is still being blurred.

The interesting of the project is that this version does not use graphic motors, lines of code or anything like that. It works entirely as a visual recreation with the help of a graphics card. It still requires a lot of work and power to be a viable project individually, but researchers see potential in this.
